Michael is excited to go on his first international business trip to Winnipeg. David Wallace is sending Michael in hopes of easing the guilt for transferring Holly back to Nashua. Michael is bringing his translator Andy, and his numbers guy Oscar, along.

Now that Pam is on her way back, Ryan is being moved next to Kelly. He wants Kelly to acknowledge the tension that there will be when he moves. She assures him she’s with Darryl and nothing will happen between her and Ryan, but then she gives in and the two begin making out on her desk.

Pam breaks the news to Jim that she’s failing one of her courses and has to re-take the class in New York. She wants to make sure Jim can do another three months of long-distance. He encourages her to follow her dreams of studying art. She hangs up before Jim can hear her cry.

Michael later runs into the hotel concierge, Marie, and begins to flirt with her. As Michael hits things off with Marie, Andy tries to get Oscar hooked up, but instead ends up bonding with him over drinks.

After tossing a few back, Andy admits that he and Angela haven’t had sex yet. Oscar pushes Andy to call Angela and ask why, and Andy accepts the dare. Angela is annoyed with Andy’s call and hangs up on him.

The next morning, Andy doesn’t remember calling up Angela. Oscar reminds him of how funny the conversation was. Andy starts freaking out over the phone call and thought he imagined the whole thing while drunk. Michael joins them after being kicked out of Marie’s room earlier that morning. Later on, Michael gets a “congratulations” call from David about closing the sales deal, but he reminds David he’s still upset over Holly’s transfer.

Kelly tells Ryan that their hooking-up has to stop and she’s with Darryl now. He asks Kelly to break up with Darryl and together they send Darryl a break up text message. Darryl’s response is “it’s cool” and now Kelly is free to be with Ryan.

Jim leaves work to find Pam waiting for him in the parking lot. She tells him that graphic design and making logos isn’t her dream and what she really wants is a life with Jim. Dwight interrupts the romantic moment by giving Pam copy jobs to do when she returns in the morning.
