Cafe Disco - S5 E25
Michael still has the lease to the storage closet formerly known as the headquarters for Michael Scott Paper Company. Every once in awhile, he sneaks down there for a little coffee and dancing. He actually dances a lot. When he’s breaking all the rules of Corporate, he’s actually break-dancing and sipping on espresso.
Erin announces she found a map to Youngstown, Ohio in the printer; specifically, directions the courthouse. Dwight immediately suspects somebody is planning to run away, but who and why? Pam and Jim began to grow nervous as Dwight names reasons why someone would go to a courthouse in Ohio. Later on, Jim and Pam reveal they are secretly getting married after work.
Michael becomes discouraged when nobody wants to join him for lunch in the office and turns around and invites them all downstairs for dancing and espresso. Erin names Michael’s getaway in the office “Café Disco.” Kevin takes Michael on his offer and joins him at the Café Disco, only to be yelled at by Angela for not doing his job back up at the office.
Michael holds his speakers close to the vents and floods the Dunder Mifflin office with music. Phyllis decides to join Michael down at Café Disco for some dancing. The fun come to a screeching halt when Phyllis throws out her back. In a panic, Michael texts Dwight and becomes worried that Phyllis’ injury could keep the other employees from wanting to join him at Café Disco.
Michael is forced to shut Café Disco down and Erin heads downstairs to put away the espresso machine. Kelly joins her and the girls have an impromptu dance party. The warehouse guys get word of the party and join in and in no time, the storage closet is full of employees and friends dancing.
As everybody is dancing at Café Disco, Dwight is in the conference room helping Phyllis out with her back injury. He’s using techniques passed down over generations of Schrutes, in hopes of making her pain go away. Phyllis confesses her fear of Bob cheating on her with his secretary and after her treatment, the two head downstairs to dance. Phyllis is delighted when Bob cuts in and asks his wife to dance.
Andy is pretty sure there is a serious dance-off going on between him and Kelly and he’s ready to bring it. Meanwhile, Angela can’t help but clean up, but Michael orders her to have fun while she’s at Café Disco.
Pam puts on her dress as Jim picks her a bouquet of flowers and the two get ready leave for Youngstown. Before they hit the road, they check out Café Disco and say goodbye to their co-workers. Pam and Jim stay and dance to “Y.M.C.A.” After noticing how cheesy the entire dance party is, Pam confesses she really does want a wedding. Jim agrees.
